Position Overview

The Housekeeping Manager is responsible for overseeing and ensuring exceptional cleanliness and orderliness in guest rooms and public areas of the lodge. This is a hands-on leadership role that involves actively participating in daily operations while managing the housekeeping team, coordinating activities, and ensuring that guest requests are addressed with promptness and courtesy. The Housekeeping Manager is expected to lead by example, working alongside their team to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction.

Duties & Responsibilities

Team Management and Development 

• Onboard, train and supervise all housekeeping staff
• Ensure ongoing training and knowledge of cleaning supplies and techniques
• Schedule and evaluate all housekeeping staff
• Foster positive employee relations through clear communication and engagement
• Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members

Quality Control and Standards

• Set and uphold quality control policies, best practices, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Conduct daily inspections to ensure standards are consistently met
• Create and update daily checklists for housekeepers, housemen, and supervisors
• Resolve guest complaints and issues professionally and promptly

Operational Management 

• Liaise between housekeeping, front desk, and maintenance teams
• Ensure compliance with legislation, health & safety regulations, and company policies
• Manage linen and cleaning/amenities inventories
• Conduct monthly ordering of supplies and maintain accurate inventory records
• Ensure all rooms are ready by check in time
• Keep labor costs and other related expenses within budgeted goals
• Maintain an accurate log of all lost & found items
• Report all maintenance defects in rooms and public areas to Maintenance

Administrative Responsibilities 

• Attend required meetings
• Complete and submit payroll every second Sunday
• Handle administrative paperwork
• Create weekly schedules for staff
• Develop monthly extra duties for housekeepers, housepersons & supervisors

Continuous Improvement 

• Regularly review and update cleaning procedures and products
• Implement eco-friendly practices where possible
• Stay informed about industry trends and best practices

Skills & Experience

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in housekeeping management, preferably in a luxury hotel or resort setting
• Proven track record of maintaining high cleanliness standards and positive guest feedback
• In-depth knowledge of cleaning techniques, products, and equipment
• Strong understanding of health and safety regulations in the hospitality industry

• Complete daily assigned checklists.
• Clean and maintain public and operational areas, including washrooms, lobbies, corridors, elevators, housekeeping offices, basements, laundry facilities, recycling areas, wood storage areas, and other designated spaces.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, polish, and perform routine and deep cleaning of assigned areas and surfaces.
• Maintain clean, organized, and appropriately stocked linen rooms, storage areas, housekeeping workspaces, woodsheds, and wood storage locations.
• Receive, deliver, replenish, and transport linen, supplies, firewood, kindling, and other materials throughout the property.
• Chop, stack, restock, and distribute firewood and kindling for Lodge operations and guest use.
• Deliver firewood, kindling, room supplies, and other requested amenities to guest rooms.
• Assist guests with fireplace operation, cleaning, and other housekeeping-related requests.
• Support Room Attendants and Housekeepers by stripping departure rooms, removing linen, garbage and recycling, delivering supplies, stocking inventory, and assisting with room cleaning as required.
• Provide luggage assistance and respond promptly to guest service requests.
• Operate company vehicles to transport supplies between properties and perform assigned housekeeping and maintenance tasks.
• Maintain radio communication with leadership and the Front Desk team.
• Perform seasonal duties, including snow removal, as required.
• Adhere to all appearance, grooming, uniform, and dress code standards.
• Comply with all health, safety, sanitation, and workplace procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Previous experience in housekeeping, hospitality, or a related service environment is preferred but not required.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driver's abstract.
• Professional, courteous, guest service-oriented attitude with a strong focus on safety.
• Knowledge of firewood handling, chopping, stacking, and basic fireplace operation and maintenance is an asset.
• Excellent time management, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to identify and promptly report maintenance concerns, property damage, safety hazards, or unusual conditions to Housekeeping leadership.
• Follow Lost & Found procedures for any guest belongings discovered while performing assigned duties.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks including bending, stretching, lifting, carrying, walking, and standing for extended periods.

Position Overview

As a Bartender, your main role is to provide exceptional service at the bar, fulfill drink orders for the lounge and dining room, restock liquor and wine racks. Delivering high-level customer service, maintaining a safe environment, and efficiently handling orders are key aspects of your responsibilities.

To provide exceptional guest service throughout the reservation process by delivering accurate information, responding to guest inquiries, and creating memorable first impressions of Canadian Rocky Mountain Resorts (CRMR). Working collaboratively with the Reservations Supervisor, Reservations Manager, and Revenue Department, the position supports revenue objectives by promoting appropriate accommodations, packages, and experiences while ensuring reservation accuracy and operational excellence. The Reservations Agent contributes to a positive team environment through professionalism, attention to detail, continuous learning, and a commitment to service excellence.

** This is a casual position offering approximately 1–3 shifts per week (7.5–24 hours), with additional hours possible during training.**

Duties and Responsibilities: 

Guest Service & Reservations 

• Respond to guest inquiries by telephone, email, and other communication channels in a professional, timely, and courteous manner.
• Create, modify, and confirm reservations while ensuring accuracy of guest information, rates, room types, packages, and special requests.
• Provide knowledgeable recommendations regarding accommodations, resort amenities, packages, services, and surrounding destinations.
• Resolve routine guest inquiries and refer complex concerns to the appropriate team member. 

Sales & Revenue Support 

• Promote room upgrades, packages, promotions, and guest experiences.
• Ensure reservations are entered accurately and in accordance with revenue strategies, policies, and booking guidelines.

Reservation Accuracy & Administration 

• Maintain accurate reservation records and guest communications.

• Identify and communicate reservation discrepancies to the Reservations Supervisor. 

Team Collaboration & Communication 

• Work collaboratively with Reservations, Front Office, Revenue, Sales, Marketing, and Operations.
• Maintain professional communication with guests, travel agents, wholesale partners, and OTA partners.
• Contribute to a positive, collaborative team environment. 

Continuous Improvement 

• Maintain current knowledge of CRMR properties, services, packages, promotions, procedures, and local attractions.
• Participate in training and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and recommend process improvements.
• Pursue cross-training opportunities to broaden knowledge of reservations, revenue management, distribution, and hospitality operations while preparing for future career advancement within CRMR. 

Qualifications 

• Previous experience in reservations, hospitality, tourism, or customer service preferred.
• Excellent guest service and communication skills while handing telephone inquiries.
• Proficient organizational skills to handle multiple priorities.
• Experience with reservation or property management systems is an asset; in particular Opera Cloud.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer systems.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Knowledge of the Canadian Rockies is considered an asset.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Primary Function:      The Maintenance Labourer is responsible for performing a wide range of maintenance tasks at our lodge, ensuring the upkeep and smooth operation of the property. This role requires a hands-on approach to building maintenance, repairs, renovations, and groundskeeping.

Duties and Responsibilities:
 
·       Carry out daily duties assigned by maintenance leadership team.
·       Perform various building maintenance tasks including drywall repairs, painting, carpentry, tiling, minor plumbing and electrical repairs.
·       Conduct groundskeeping and snow removal using hand tools and machinery.
·       Operate equipment safely, such as snow blowers, front-end loaders, and power tools.
·       Manage shipping and receiving duties, including unloading deliveries and handling waste.
·       Perform maintenance in guest rooms and respond to related complaints.
·       Conduct routine property and system checks, reporting any issues.
·       Handle chemicals safely for maintenance purposes (e.g., hot tub, sewage plant).
·       Drive the guest shuttle outside of Bell hours if needed.
·       Maintain a clean and organized workshop and adhere to safety protocols.
·       Wear appropriate PPE and follow the CRMR Employee Handbook and grooming policies.
·       Record daily tasks and participate in safety meetings as required.
·       Perform other duties as assigned by the maintenance manager.

              Requirements/Experience:

·       Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
·       Experience in basic carpentry, drywall repair, and painting.
·       Skills in electrical, plumbing, or tiling are advantageous.
·       Ability to perform basic maintenance tasks and troubleshoot problems.
·       Commitment to safety standards and learning new skills (firefighting equipment, chemical handling, etc.).
·       Capability to work in various weather conditions and shift patterns.
·       Ability to work independently and handle physical demands such as lifting (up to 80 pounds) and climbing ladders.

1.     Room Management

2.     Team Leadership

·       Model exemplary grooming, uniform compliance, and guest engagement

3.     Operational Management

·       Manage linen inventory, ensuring proper storage and distribution

5.     Compliance and Safety

·       Adhere to and enforce all health, safety, and sanitation procedures

6.     Flexibility and Cross-Training

·       Be flexible to work AM, PM as required

·       Crosstrain in all housekeeping departments (Room Attendant, Houseperson, Woodsmen, Night Cleaner, etc.)

·       Assist room attendants with making beds and cleaning during peak times or staff shortages

Skills & Experience:

·       Minimum 2 years of experience in hotel housekeeping

·       Good communication skills in English; additional languages are an asset

Position Overview:

As F&B Banquet Supervisor, your primary goal is to oversee banquet operations and events while supporting the restaurant operations when needed. You will ensure efficient and profitable F&B operations while upholding the highest standards of quality and service. Your role encompasses supervising banquet staff, coordinating events, and maintaining exceptional guest experiences.

Duties and Responsibilities:        

• Lead banquet service operations, including setup, execution, and breakdown
• Coordinate with kitchen team for banquet menu execution and timing
• Train, coach and mentor banquet servers and support staff
• Assist in supervising the restaurant operations as needed
• Model exemplary customer service and problem resolution
• Support event planning and execution with sales and events team
• Monitor banquet labor costs and maintain budgets
• Manage banquet inventory and supplies
• Enforce cash handling and service policies
• Maintain health and safety compliance
• Communicate effectively regarding event details and guest feedback
• Perform hands-on duties including serving, setting up conference rooms, and supporting restaurant service when required

Requirements/Experience:

• Event planning experience an asset Extensive experience in banquets — including buffets, plated dinners, weddings, and conference events.
• Experience in reading and understanding BEOs and execution according to the details provided.
• Experience in restaurant service to be able to support the restaurant during non-banquet times as needed.
• Flexible with scheduling — available for early morning shifts (as early as 6am) and late nights for wedding functions.
• Strong leadership and people skills — will be responsible for supervising shifts, handling guest issues professionally, and coaching/mentoring junior team members.
• Work directly with the Banquet Manager and F&B Manager, successful candidate must be team-oriented and communicative
•  Previous wedding experience is an asset as we do a high volume of those events.
